Orientation Programs

Campus orientation programming for students and their families will take place on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Families will meet with their lower division grade level teacher or middle division advisor to tour campus, their new classroom, and address any questions you may have. Registration information is available on parent/guardian Pirate Pages.

New residential students move in on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Students new to campus instruction, new to the Pebble Beach campus, or new to the school will begin orientation during Sunday evening gatherings. Full-day new student orientation part 1 begins Monday, September 6, 2021, and continues on Tuesday, September 7. During this time, you will meet your classmates, as well as student leaders who will be working with you all year. Our goals include getting you comfortable with the campus so you feel confident navigating your first days of school, introducing you to Stevenson culture, and getting you connected and tech-ready. Many students feel nervous about their arrival, and you will likely feel a sense of relief after spending this day on campus preparing for the year. On Wednesday, September 8, 2021, all Stevenson students return for the first day of school.

A Message from Dr. Dan Griffiths,
Head of the Upper Division

Welcome to the new school year! Whether you are coming from across the world or down the street, we look forward to your arrival with optimism and enthusiasm. Here, you will find more information about our opening days, including how we will ensure community health and safety this fall while delivering an excellent and joyful educational experience. Please review this site carefully, whether you are a returning or new student. As you do so, keep in mind that we will adjust our policies and practices related to the pandemic as guidelines from the state and county health authorities evolve.

If you have a specific question that is not addressed here, please reach out to us directly at communications@stevensonschool.org. We are also hosting a number of back-to-school webinars and online events over the course of the next few weeks, so be sure to register on your Pirate Page.

A Message from Mrs. Molly K. Bozzo,
Head of the Lower and Middle Divisions

I am so excited to welcome everyone to campus! I look forward to seeing you tomorrow during orientation, and then at carline the next day, which opens at 7:30 a.m. Remember that the lower division starts promptly at 8:00 a.m. and the middle division starts at 8:20 a.m. I am eager to greet you!

Given the continuing challenges of the pandemic, I invite you to exercise patience with yourself, your children, and us. Practicing care and optimism within our small but mighty school community has never been more important given the state of our world. In that light, trust that our teachers and staff are ready and eager to join me in being sources of support for you and your family on the journey ahead. United by our shared belief in these children—in their goodness and their potential—we will help them as they learn, grow, and stay safe and joyful.
